Empowering teachers and students for a brighter future.
Supporting education and innovation.
The humanitarian work of Panda Negra was created in 2019, in the Dominican Republic in an area who call Otrabanda. I have lived there for 12 years. In this zone, they have a 98 % of Haitian children living in bad conditions. They do not have access to education, purified water, food, medical care and more . We found a tragic history which has led to widespread poverty and utter hopelessness for many people. God has given us a mission of hope and a vision for change.
It comes down to us. We can be the agent of change and bring light where there is darkness. We can bring change that will impact children and the generations after them. Our goal is to break the cycle of poverty by teaching life-skills and teaching hope. Many people ask God, why he doesn’t do something about the suffering in the world and he says, “I did, I created you! Will you join us in His work?
Materials for Learning
Many educational materials in local languages are often out of date. We work with school leaders and publishers to ensure that students have access to current textbooks that are age appropriate and written in their primary language.
Education for Students
We create bespoke continuing education programs to address the needs of teachers and their student communities. From training on the latest technology to new pedagogical methods, we help teachers make their classrooms engaging and successful.
Support for Communities
Education happens within the context of a larger community. Our approach extends beyond the school to help ensure students have the necessary support to do their best learning.
“With God’s grace and your support, we will be able to serve our students and community better than ever.”
